Out of Bounds – E252 – Adam Miller – Another Day, Another Adam and Revel Bikes
Hello, hello, hello and welcome back to a brand-new episode of The Out Of Bounds podcast, right here on The Out of Collective Network. Today we’re taking the OOC outside at Seaotter for our sitdown with Adam Miller, CEO and Founder of Revel Bikes. On this next stop of the Adam Appreciation your we get some background on why Adam Miller started Revel bikes. He also founded Why Cycles, which makes high end titanium gravel and adventure bikes, but thought Revel which focuses on carbon fiber full suspension mountain bikes, deserved to be kept separate. But as much sense as that sounds like it makes, the business reality turned out to be much different. The companies have since been consolidated under the Revel brand name and continuing to grow in both markets. Adam and Adam talk about making and riding bikes that are so much better and unnecessary than your capabilities, but just how much fun bikes that good can be. They talk about the latest technology including 3D carbon printing, the learning process behind it and the future ahead for it. Other questions asked and answered; can you ride a flat bar on a gravel bike and why is Taiwan the silicon valley of cycling? This interview is a great look at a new brand that is making and changing how we think of what makes the best bike products. Innovating on the cutting edge with old school bike nerd foundations if pushing Revel bikes towards the future and toward the upper echelon of cycling brands. For more on Revel and more from Adam Miller, just listen to the full episode. And you can do that here and wherever you find your favorite pods. But don’t forget you can also find this interview and so much more on our YouTube channel, so be sure to like and subscribe.
