Erin is a professional skier and freelance writer based in Pocatello, Idaho. Skiing for Nordica and Cast Touring these days, but Erin talks about how her professional life was turned upside down by the pandemic. Once the Assistant Editor at Freeskier, her role she has now been freelancing for the past 3 years both back at Freeskier and with several other brands and projects. She and Adam talk about what freelance means these days and how to make it work. They also contemplate the value of print media in today’s industry, her position on being anti-sled, and of course the topic of the moment, BOA, and other boot talk! Her latest project, Advice For Girls, is inspired by the poem of the same name, written by Addy Jacobsend. It will be a feature length film coming next fall with an all female cast and production crew, sharing lessons and experiences they have learned and passing that advice for the next generation.
