The Passion Report – E04 – The Zermatt Story.

The Passion Report meets up with Jacques Summermatten aka Crack Jack on his home turf of Zermatt! I love to call Jack the mayor of the horn, as he knows just about everyone in Zermatt. I first met Jack back in 2017 on my first trip ever to The Matterhorn to ski there then famous summer park, the park infamized by the web series Glacier Days. I was really shocked to show up to Zermatt, the epitome of boujee ski culture and see a guy lapping the park in track pants. I knew we would immediately be friends, but was blown away by how kind and Generous of a person Jack was. I was also surprised to see how much of a youth culture that exists in Zermatt. It is not just a bunch of rich holiday’s maker but also has a thriving park scene that Jack is at the heart of. I now make an annual trip to Zermatt every year & would consider it like a home away from home in all thanks to Jack and his group of friends. We discuss the history of Zermatt’s terrain park, How life is growing up in Zermatt, and how one becomes a park skiers in the alps & more. This episode was filmed in September.
