Care Less, Do More. – E9 – Ingrid Backstrom 

Ingrid Backstrom has been a professional skier for the past 20 years. She is a pioneer for women in free ride, for women starring in films, starting a family as a professional skier while maintaining sponsorships, and one of the most humble and down-to-earth people. Ingrid has won best female performance 5 or 6 times, which I think is a standing record, and took home reader’s choice year after year for a total of 9 times. She filmed with Matchstick Productions and was a staple in the film. She has the first descent on Red Domain peak in China, has been to the summit of Denali, attempted to ski Gasherbam 2, and has a running list of firsts Baffin, Greenland, and Antarctica. Her latest project is the Approach 2, a must-watch film.

Where did I get the name Care Less, Do More? It’s a thought that I have often meaning care less about what people think of you, the noise, the chirping on social media and just do more. Get outside, put your phones down, and do more.
