Lily Bradley has been competing in big mountain comps for 8 years, since she was 12 years old. Born and raised here in Lake Tahoe, CA, she grew up riding Palisades. In 2021 Lily won the North American division of the Freeride World Qualifier circuit with a lead of over 1400 points which got Lily an invite to the Freeride World Tour. Last year was a big breakout year as Lily was one of the youngest competitors on tour and had multiple podiums including a win at Kicking Horse. While Lily has been pursuing skiing at a high level, winning the qualifier circuit was a bit of a surprise to her. She is someone who I am watching as an up and coming big mountain skier, especially after her performance last year. She is a second year social welfare student at UC Berkeley and balances both school and competing simultaneously. Lily is bright, thoughtful and interesting. When she is in the room, I instantly smile. Maybe it reminds me of when she was 12 and played guitar at the local farmers market here in Tahoe City, she’s been making me smile for a very long time.

Where did I get the name Care Less, Do More? It’s a thought that I have often meaning care less about what people think of you, about the noise, about the chirping on social media and just do more. Get outside, put your phones down and do more.
