Alex Showerman is a professional mountain biker who happens to be a queer trans woman. As an athlete, Alex uses her 10 years of brand strategy, public relations, story telling, advocacy and athletic achievement to create change through action sports. Alex is an absolute rockstar of a human being, an advocate and a promoter for all things outdoor. This episode covers so many topics from Trans rights, Mountain Biking, Splitboarding, being home, and even what it feels like to be home. I want to take a second to personally thank Alex for being so open and comfortable with my questions and answering the questions so I may continue to learn and grow as a human.
