What Is Snowbound? And Why You Should Go!

You have probably heard us talk a lot about Snowbound on the pods and social media over the past few weeks. But, what the heck is it? Why should you care? And most importantly, why you should come!

Snowbound Expo is the home for winter and outdoor sports to be held at the Hynes Convention Center, 18-20 November 2022. They’re bringing together inspirational speakers, the latest gear, cutting-edge technology, apparel and resorts all in one place for three days of pre-season stoke!

Listen & Learn

Some of the biggest names and most inspirational people in the outdoor industry will be in attendance to speak at Snowbound. Olympians, athletes, explorers, enthusiasts and more will be sharing their stories, answering questions, signing autographs and if you ask nicely maybe you can even get a selfie. The list of all speakers is almost too long to list but does include friends and formers guests on The Out Of Collective like AdamX’s very good friend Conrad Anker, Vasu Sojitra, Dan Egan, Philip Henderson and more! If you come down and watch these speakers it will practically be like being in a live podcast. You might laugh, be inspired or even learn something!

Gear Galore

For the 3 days in Boston, Snowbound will essentially be the Northeast’s largest ski shop. This is the place to be for the latest cutting edge gear this season with brands like Peak Skis, Fischer, Anon, Helly Hansen, Scarpa, HEAD, Hestra, Darn Tough, Tecnica, Nordica, Deuter. Ok you get it, sounds like I’m just naming brands at this point. Come check out, try out, and buy the latest and greatest in ski gear. Get your early holiday shopping done, or write something down for your own letter to Santa.

Stoke and Stuff

Sorry Northeasters, there just really isn’t any skiing yet for us. But, this winter wonderland is the next best thing to stoke your stoke for the upcoming season. There’s going to be resorts from all over the country to help you find your next getaway. Also all sorts of swag and giveaways you could walk away with. Get into the action with an indoor ski slope, giant curling, and other interactive attractions. Thirsty? Work on your Après game before you even hit the slopes with the Ikon Pass Alpine Bar or the Fat Tire Beer Garden. Though it’s not really après if its before. I guess that make it “avant de” drinking. What I am saying is there are beverages and fun, so just come.
