Hadley Hammer is on the show today. Had’s, as I affectionately call her, has always intrigued me with her thoughtful approach to skiing and life. While we haven’t spent a ton of time together, there is always this magnetic pull to her. She’s made me think more about what I value as an athlete and how I can approach skiing in a more mindful way. Hadley turned pro at the age of 25 after going to school and diving into hospitality with the goal of opening up her own hotel one day. She grew up in Jackson Hole and chased her brothers around the mountains which came full circle when some friends eventually encouraged her to enter a free skiing competition. Today, after filming with TGR and other major production companies, Hadley lives in France and her approach to skiing has been ever changing. She is a writer, a thinker, a biker, a lover of croissants, a sister and a really incredible friend.
Where did I get the name Care Less, Do More? It’s a thought that I have often meaning care less about what people think of you, about the noise, about the chirping on social media and just do more. Get outside, put your phones down and do more.
Sierra Nevada – www.shop.sierranevada.com – Still the best original craft beer in the game? Yup! But, don’t sleep on their new 0% ABV Hop Splash. It’s a refreshing alternative and still delivers an IPA-inspired hop kick.
Darn Tough – Name says it all. Darn Tough Socks from Vermont, are exactly that. Merino wool and guaranteed for life. Treat your feet, you animal.
