Out Of Bounds – E258 – Mallory Duncan
Hello, hello, hello and welcome back to a brand-new episode of The Out Of Bounds podcast, right here on The Out of Collective Network. On today’s program we have a good ole fashioned chat sesh with guest Mallory Duncan. Sales rep, sponsored skier, and now film guy. Mallory has gotten his hands all up in this ski world over the past five years. He and Adam get into retailer pet peeves, covid’s effect on trade shows, and successful schwag strategies. Mallory and Adam also discuss race. They talk about his position as an athlete of color and if, how and why there may finally be signs of change in the outdoor industry. We also get to hear about Mallory’s new film project “The Black Country Journal”. With it roots in a poem, and inspired by jazz music, Mallory finds a way to bring creativity to ski films that haven gotten stale and stuck in an assembly line like format. Adam starts this episode off calling Mallory our friend and yours in the intro and by the end, we do hope our listeners feel like one of his buds. Be sure to keep an eye out for “The Black Country Journal” premiering this fall hopefully in a town near you. we hope you enjoy listening to this conversation as much as we did. Good dude and even better interview. As always do not forget you can also find this interview and so much more on our YouTube channel, so be sure to like and subscribe.
