Out of Bounds – E255 – Shelby Stanger

Hello, hello, hello and welcome back to a brand-new episode of The Out Of Bounds podcast, right here on The Out of Collective Network. On today’s show, we are lucky to have our guest Shelby Stanger joining the program.
Shelby is an explorer and fellow podder who hosts @rei’s Wild Ideas Worth Living. She’s also a writer that’s been published in Outside Magazine, ESPN, and now adding full blow author to her resume with her new book, “Will To Wild”. She and Adam talk about her podcast roots and her knack for getting people to tell stories. Turns out those are also excellent foundations for writing a book. We hear her motivation for it, the biggest surprises, challenges and the entire process of documenting Adventures Great and Small to Change Your Life. The pursuit of adventure isn’t selfish, it’s self-love and that’s just self-care.  Shelby’s book is an instructional manual to that adventure. It helps people face their fears. And also how and where to get started living their best wild life. For more on “Will to Wild” and more from Shelby Stanger, just listen to the full episode. And you can do that here and wherever you find your favorite pods. But don’t forget you can also find this interview and so much more on our YouTube channel, so be sure to like and subscribe.
