This week Adam welcomes Stein Retzlaff and Todd Offenbacher to the show. Stein and Todd are natural bedfellows, and on at least one occasion actual bed mates on a boat expedition to Norway. Both men are professional skiers, climbers, guides, and adventurers with a pension for storytelling and film production. They discuss their expeditions with Ice Axe Expeditions to Greenland, Norway, Antarctica and more. The arctic experience they share gives color to the extreme travel, terrain, gear, and planning needed to climb and make turns on some of earths most remote and extreme terrain. Their latest project, “The Crux” is a documentary that revolves around Todd as he wrangles with his passion for the outdoors, safety, and family as he introduces his 8 yr old into the world of climbing. Both these guys are “rock stars”, get it? But in all honesty their ability to connect with each other and an audience is something special. And they do just that in this interview.
