Hello, hello, hello and welcome back to a brand-new episode of The Out Of Bounds podcast, right here on The Out of Collective Network. This week we have another in-person guest Jim Ryan. Jim Ryan is a pro skier, based out of Jackson Hole, originally from Vermont. He drops by the studio on the heels of the Teton Gravity Film Tour which wrapped in Boston. Jim’s been skiing full time professionally for 5 years and finds himself walking that fine line between passion and occupation. Balancing both is the choose your own adventure reality for him and many athletes today. He and Adam sit down and talk the speed of the content cycle these days, making ends meet, chasing the feeling of belonging, and actually making it. We also learn about his east coast ski racing roots. It’s helped him transition into and build a unique niche while filming ski movies. Strong outside edge, and getting in the front of the boots, and dropping the hip to make some of the prettiest damn turns on the screen today. Oh ya, and FOOT STUFF.
